The local Leagues of Kansas take turns hosting the conventions and council meetings for the League of Women Voters of Kansas. This year the Topeka League has the honor of hosting the Council Meeting. We have chosen the Topeka High School Library for our setting. Lunch will be served in the teacher's lunch room. League members from all the other Leagues in Kansas will be attending. The number of official delegates from each League is determined by the number of members in the League.

Friday-Tuesday, June 13-17, 2008   Portland, Oregon 2008 LWVUS Convention
First Call to Convention has been issued for the 2008 LWVUS Convention in Portland, Oregon, Fri.-Tues., June 13-17. All League members can attend all session, but the number of voting delegates, as determined by your membership number on January 31 of this year is as follows: 1 delegate for up to 99 members; 2 delegates for 100-100 members; 3 delegates for 200-299 members.
