Legislative Observer Corps

Volunteers on behalf of LWV Kansas regularly attend committee meetings held by the Kansas legislature. Volunteers observe the committee process, follow targeted bills through the legislative process, and occasionally write and deliver testimony.

Our People Powered Fair Maps committee has spent the time to listen through testimony given by Kansans, worked with our nine local leagues, and coalition partners to put together the Bluestem Congress Redistricting Map.
